A Binocular Vision Evaluation takes about an hour and is designed to test all the visual skills required for functioning in our daily lives; such as reading, learning, driving, sports, etc.

During the evaluation Dr. Conway will be testing how both eyes work together, how well they move when reading of following a target, as well as many other visual skills. She will determine the depth of the problem and the best treatment options.

The binocular vision evaluation is much more in depth than a regular eye exam which is designed to check the health of one’s eyes and whether or not glasses are needed in order to see the appropriate letters on the eye chart. Optometrists will often refer patients to our office when they suspect there is a problem with how the eyes work together and move when reading, etc.
